Legal Product Coordinator

AEGON/Transamerica, a successful financial services organization that specializes in life insurance, annuities and mutual funds, has an immediate opening for a Legal Product Coordinator.

The Legal Product Coordinator assists and supports the preparation of quarterly and special Board of Directors/Trustees meetings for the Funds; assists in creation and maintenance of all Fund agreements in relation to investment advisors, sub-advisors and service providers; identifies and obtains/produces documents and information responsive to third party legal proceedings including motions, affidavits, depositions and pleadings; maintains legal files for the department; assists with special projects as assigned.

This position requires three years of paralegal work experience; strong attention to detail, analytical and proofreading skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks; strong PC proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).  Knowledge of the mutual fund industry and Investment Company Act of 1940 preferred.  College degree also preferred.
