Junior Associate

Progressive financial planning firm in Coral Gables seeks motivated individual with Finance background and/or interest in financial planning for entry level Junior Associate position. This position has excellent growth potential for the right candidate willing to put in the time and effort needed to grow with our firm

 

Duties:

 

Database Management

 

- Maintain CRM Database with updated contact info on all clients, prospects, leads, etc.

- Manage opportunity and lead pipeline

- Run database syncs between Outlook and CRM Database

- Run database reports

- Track outcomes of client meeting via CRM Database

- Implementation of CRM tracking via specific keywords used for targeted marketing and servicing functions

- Maintain firm intranet site via sharepoint

 

Client Marketing

 

- Send specific targeted messages to clients and prospects via CRM software as often as weekly

- Send date related messages to clients that track important dates such as birthdays and anniversaries via CRM software and send out cards as often as daily

- Manage “Red Carpet� campaign (used to welcome new clients to the firm via targeted drip message campaign)

  

Para-Planning Duties

 

- Create proposals for various insurance and investment products for client presentations

- Assist in analyzing of client investments using specific investment analytics software

- Assist advisor in creating and compiling financial plans

- Assist advisor in scanning client related documents

- Track inventory and ordering of product kits and prospectus

- Manage insurance audit queue used in analyzing life insurance policies

- Assist advisor in creating periodic review package used during client periodic review process

- Prepare and manage all pre and post meeting paperwork

- Maintain Temporary files for those clients in the planning process

 



Requirements/Expectations

 

- Obtain 3 levels of CRM certification within 90 days of hire

- Excellent Computer Skills and ability to learn multiple software systems

- Already have or the ability to obtain Florida Life Insurance 2-15, Series 7, Series 66 after 12-18 months of hire.

- Financial and/or software background

- Current college students studying finance welcome

- Ability to work full time

- Excellent Multi-tasker

- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required

- Team Player

 

Ideal Candidate

 

Individual with some experience or high level of interest in Financial Planning, investments and insurance and willing to learn the business from the ground up.  Individual must possess excellent computer skills, be a quick learner and thrive in a team oriented environment. Must be able to multi-task, like, and excel in a fast paced, fast moving work environment.  This position offers the candidate the potential to become a full time financial advisor within 24 -36 months if so desired.
