We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary


This Senior Financial Analyst position functions as a member of the North American Financial Planning and Analysis team and will be a key contributor and business partner to our Operations team. The position is responsible for all aspects of the planning cycle including the multi-year plan, the annual budget and monthly forecasting using Iron Mountain’s Hyperion Planning applications. This position will work closely with Senior Management from our Operations team to help drive operational excellence and provide business insight and general support to several key initiatives.

The role requires the ability to understand and apply specific business knowledge in an effort to anticipate potential problems and force timely resolutions. Additionally, this position requires frequent interaction with Executive and Operational management and therefore strong presentation and communication skills are necessary. This position may need to resolve complex issues.

Essential Functions

As a participant of the Financial Planning and Analysis team:

General duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with the overall coordination and management of the planning cycle and processes.
o Includes working with various stakeholders to align on multi-year assumptions.
o Help identify key initiatives supporting the multi-year plan’s objectives along with required investment and resource allocation.
o Manage the NA Strategic Investment (Stratex) funding allocation and tracking
o Coordinate the multi-year target integration with the annual operating budget
o Facilitate target alignment sessions with product line and field stakeholders
o Provide communication and guidance to budget users during the process.
o Maintain and track budget changes or revisions throughout the year as needed.
o Ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
o Serve as primary liaison between North American Field Operations and Corporate.

• Owner of all management reporting for the NA division
o This includes monthly and quarterly presentations on business performance
o Investor Relations and Board updates
o Help lead and coordinate various reporting enhancements in Hyperion
-Automation of reports and books
-Business Drivers
-Allocations
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support investment decisions as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of driver-based budgeting for a large (>$1B) company
• Solid organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage projects with changing deadlines
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and provide specific recommendations
• Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal), organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting team objectives
• Demonstrates initiative and innovation in achieving results.
• Maintains a positive, achievement-oriented attitude
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 6 - 8 years of related finance experience
• Strong functional background of budgeting and planning processes
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
• Prior experience with Hyperion products preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
