Insurance Product Analyst

To meet these expanding needs, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as an Insurance Analyst in its Product Review Department. This person is responsible for analyzing and approving all insurance products sold by Edward Jones. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree, has experience analyzing insurance products, and has completed at least Level I of the CFA exams. This candidate also possesses strong critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.Responsibilities Conducting the due diligence analysis of insurance products sold by Edward Jones in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Insurance products include life, disability, critical illness and long-term care insurance as well as fixed variable and immediate annuities. Preparing recommendations related to insurance product approval and effectively communicating conclusions with product leaders, vendors, and internal clients at all levels. Staying current with and developing an in-depth knowledge of a range of insurance products spanning three countries. Working periodically in collaboration with other product review analysts to support the department's overall objectives.Requirements Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) Insurance analytical experience or product knowledge CFA Charterholder or willingness to pursue the CFA Strong understanding of financial accounting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Intermediate-level skills using Microsoft Excel and WordSubmit an online resume for prompt consideration for this opportunity.
