Informatica ETL Senior Developer

 

Informatica ETL Senior Developer must be able to demonstrate their ability to perform the following skills.  This developer position will work as the sole ETL developer for a large highly visible project. This person should fully understand Informatica and ETL data movement, and be able to produce quality results on his own. Initial project phase may last 6 months and we fully expect additional project phases to be added on for 2009.

 

Soft SkillsCommunicate with internal and external customers, supervisor and management and iInteract with business users and systems operations team as part of the support work for error resolution and enhancement design.Self-manage time and task priorities to meet project timelines, and identify potential project risksHandle multiple work related tasksTake ownership and follow through with tasks until completionWork on projects and maintenance tasks Handles general support duties including defect resolution and moderate enhancement work



Technical Skills4+ years in Oracle development, preferably in a large enterprise database environment2+ years Informatica experience creating mappings/processes.  Solid experience creating mappings for batch, Change Data Capture, and Web ServicesSolid experience in ETL and Data Warehousing methods and technologiesExperience with:Informatica performance tuningQuery tuningQuery tuning and evaluating Oracle explain plansPL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions and Package

Nice to have's:Informatica PowerCenter experience creating mappings.  Informatica PowerExchange real-time processing experience and/or PowerExchange web service experience considered a plus.Advanced workflow job process design and management a plusInformatica mapping integration with TIDAL scheduler is a plus.Informatica administration and environment management a plusSolid experience in ETL and Data Warehousing methods and technologiesProven history in performance tuning for Oracle VLDB’sProven experience aiding in the design of relational data mart modelsErwin models
