Job Description The Technology Engagement Management role provides a single point of contact within the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) for ETG technology solution implementations. The TEM combines business, IT and industry experience together with First American product knowledge to recommend and manage client solutions and implementations. In addition, the TEM strives to align recommended client solutions with ETG platform objectives and capabilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:? Serves as primary liaison between the client, vendor and the ETG organization for technology solution implementations. ? Ability to associate technology features and functions with a client’s business requirements.? Responsible for identifying and documenting client business requirements.? Collaborates with internal groups to propose solutions that meet the customer’s needs.? Prepares ROI oriented Business Cases and Statements of Work (SOW) for moderate to complex business problems. ? Works with the customer to determine prioritization of SOW’s and Amended SOW’s. ? Drives feature identification and prioritization through management of project scope.? Manages customer expectations; the engagement manager is responsible for high quality client communication of proposed solution and timeline expectations. ? Maintains contact with clients and vendors to manage project status, quality and risk? Monitors the status of active projects and contractual commitments and provides a monthly summary to the stakeholders. ? Partners with client, vendors, and internal peer groups to identify and resolve issues.? Monitors client feedback and organization performance against ETG SLA’s.? Collaborates with clients for continual identification of process improvement opportunities.? May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff to ensure adherence to the engagement management process.? May assist support group with account setup as required for clients and vendors? Assists launch management team with client communication plans for new releases? Assist the sales force by providing phone support as wells as solution demonstrationsQualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:? Four-year college level course of study in computer science, or in non-computer science field with minimum 2 years experience in banking, mortgage, or consumer finance-related field in a technical role.REQUIRED SKILLS:? Excellent organizational and relationship building skills? Superior communication skills; oral, written, presentation, listening. ? Strong leadership skills in project management with ability to work effectively with cross-functional and client teams. ? Strong problem solving, decision making skills. ? Strong business and financial acumen.? Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle process and Web Application Development? Some travel requiredPreferred:? Prior account management experience? Experience with major mortgage loan origination, servicing, default management systems?
