Location: Riverwoods, IL UNITED STATESFunctional Area: Technology/E-CommerceMin Pay Rate: $0Max Pay Rate: $0Pay Type: YearResource Type: Full TimeJob Description: BASIC FUNCTION: Internal Job Title: "Senior Associate" Manage the delivery of business strategic projects including the gathering of business requirements, leadingcollaboration with business and technology to ensure implementation of efficient, cost effective applicationsolutions, negotiating with clients to prioritize projects to meet strategic vision, negotiating resource availability withinternal/external subcontractors. Participate with business clients as subject matter expert for technology and act asthe liaison between the business and technology departments. Balance your technical expertise andunderstanding, with the ability to break down business client requirements and bridge translation to businesstechnology partners. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Essential Functions 1. Participates in the Strategic Solutions Team planning, organizing and development. 2. Works with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes fordiverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server),software, hardware, technologies and tools. 3. Responsible for the management of multiple strategic projects concurrently. 4. Coordinates the development and implementation activities of internal/external subcontractors to meet thestrategic goals of the business. 5. Acts as subject mater expert for project management upholding the standards and methodology of theorganization. 6. Performs Strategic Solutions related duties as assigned or requested.SKILLSRequired: To qualify, you must have: * Bachelors degree required.Will consider non-degreed applicants with close or exact-matching work experience. * At least 7 years work experience in: * Systems analysis * IT Project management * IT Program development * Client relationship management * Process development & improvement * Proven success in management and successful implementation of Strategic and High Profile projects.* Credit Card industry experience and/or Financial Services background is required* Proven success in Communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with all organizational levels. * Capable of delivering consistent messages, impromptu presentations and executive level correspondence. * Strategic Development, Product Development, Leadership skills, In-depth knowledge of system and technologyalternatives, Broad knowledge of the system development life cycle, and Process expertise skills are a must. * Proven skills in: Business Strategy, Prioritization, Requirements Gathering, Development of Position Papers,Consensus Building, High Energy, Team Player, Enthusiastic, Leadership, Communication, Listening, Presentation, Facilitation, Team Builder, Flexible, Results Driven, Organized, Innovator, Out of the Box Thinker, Solutions-Oriented, Project Management Methodologies, Six Sigma Methodologies, Product Development, Gregarious,Integrity * Strong analysis, client interface, verbal and written skills are required. * Solid administrative experience and attention to detail is essential. * Technical Skills: NT, XP, MS Office, MS Project, VISIO, Lotus Notes, MS Power Point, competency in utilizing theInternet as a research tool.
