Position Description:This person will be a key contributor to establishing operations excellence for the Technology organization and IT leadership. • Responsible for driving consistency across the processes, budgets, and strategic resource plans to ensure delivery of expected service levels. • Acts as Subject Matter Expert in support of the internal and external Print Operations.• Ensure standardization and consistency in expense budgeting and capital planning• Serves as operational leader for day to day Retirement and Protection (R&P) print operations and processes. • Manages the relationship with Genworth's print suppliers. • Analyzes current processes to determine improvements for reliability and flexibility of print fulfillment. • Drives toward common processes and solutions to cost effectively meet R&P's print needs. • Manages team of support personnel to ensure consistent print output. • Researches industry best practices and applies them at Genworth. • Advises management on reliability of print processes through regular reports and updates.• Drives the consistency and accuracy of project accounting and forecasting • Coordinate centralized services such as: development of cost benefits analyses, estimating, scheduling, project controls and cost management, project accounting, and project reporting• Ensure consistency with overall strategy, consistency of processes across projects and customer satisfaction with the products• Work with leadership teams to set priorities for initiatives across product lines and technology platforms.• Coordinate and communicate strategic project plans for investment and supplemental resource planning• Help the business use technology that drives productivity, efficiency, sound cost management, and customer satisfaction.• Ensure systems development and support activities are created in line with overall IT processes and procedure and ensure that a consistent approach and cost efficiency is maintained.• Leadership and coordination of Industry benchmarking efforts including results analysis and improvement recommendations and plans.Basic:• Minimum 7 years experience in Financial Services, distribution or print industry role, with 2 years experience with operations management.• Experience dealing with strenuous situations• Track record of sustained process improvement• Experience managing supplier relationships• Understanding of common industry print methodologies• Experience managing vendor relationships • Ability to drive technical solutions to complex business problems• Comfortable multitasking and managing priorities• Self driven, ambitious, willing to effect change and drive production processes to new levels of functionality and performance. • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly document and articulate ideas• Ability to influence and motivate othersPreferred: Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.• Experience in the Financial Services industry• Desire MBA graduate degree• 4+ years previous experience in Project Management/Project Controls• Degree or certification operations managementQuality certification• Experience with Document Generation and distribution tools Additional Information Reference Code:   81268Status:   Full Time, EmployeeJob Category:   IT/Software Development Send this Job to a FriendSee all Company opportunities
