Human Resources Administrator
This position is responsible for day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering one of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and personnel research. Does not have policy development authority. Supports the recruiting process by conducting initial phone screens, scheduling interviews, meeting candidates, etc. May be assigned openings to recruit for independently, e.g. Interns. Supports employment processing and orientation. Provides administrative support for and performs projects in support of employee activities and events, discount tickets, charitable contributions, community outreach, training, etc. Provides general administrative support including budgets, supplies, and other duties as assigned.
The qualified candidate will typically have a college degree or 2 to 4 years of equivalent job experience, HR related preferred. Will have an intermediate level knowledge base and skills. Demonstrated interpersonal/communication skills. Analytical skills with emphasis on personal computer applications and PeopleSoft and detail orientation preferred. Practical knowledge of implications of government regulatory guidelines on evaluation decisions and recommendations. Strong experience in Microsoft Word & Excel and a proven ability to use office technology to solve problems and make improvements. Must be adaptable to change and be able to present a positive demeanor and provide excellent client service even under trying circumstances. Position is initially located in Orlando, Fl, but is expected to work in the Lake Mary, Fl office if needed.
