Overview
The Head of Online Products plays a key role in the Marketing and Sales of iShares Exchange-Traded products (iShares, iPath) for the United States and Canada. This person will design strategies and execute programs related to our online suite of tools and charts, fund information pages and other web products, and will lead a team of product managers and analysts.
Responsibilities
Strategy and development understand driving forces behind customer usage and adoption of iShares and other product offerings and use that knowledge to drive tool, fund information and other web product investment decisions; conduct research projects (with both internal and external customers) to continually test assumptions and evolve the strategy Program management manage demand for new products, upgrades, enhancements and maintenance requests against supply of resources and budget; understand tradeoffs, cost/benefit, and ROI for each project; articulate prioritization decisions Product suite management responsible for overall product management, including operations, usage analyses, client behaviors, product training coordination and product integration within the overall site. Team management manage day-to-day issues, set workload and priorities, ensure project coverage, manage career development Vendor management optimize mix of applications and data providers, analyze build/buy scenarios, run RFP processes, manage contract and SLA negotiations Business management monitor budgets, staffing, and support requirements; obtain senior management buy-in for increases when necessary Product marketing work with other Marketing team members to market offerings and drive/optimize tool and other site usage
Requirements
BA/BS degree required CFA and/or CIMA designation preferred Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred Excellent knowledge and understanding of investment industry concepts and applications (Modern Portfolio Theory, Asset Allocation, Correlation Analysis, etc.) At least 4 years of team management experience preferred, ideally in a global financial services organization Experience with financial software design and implementation, including custom-built/proprietary tools Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Consensus building skills 'Can do' drive, positive attitude Team player
