HELP DESK SUPPORT SPECIALIST

 

Encore Capital Group has an opportunity for a Help Desk Support Specialist within our IT Department. This individual will provide support to end users regarding a variety of issues. The Help Desk Support Specialist will identify, research, and resolve technical problems with desktop hardware. Candidates will respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Additionally, they will be required to document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

· 2 year’s experience troubleshooting PC’s in a LAN environment is required.

· Strong diagnostic skills in Software – MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook)

·  A+ or other certifications desired.

· High School Diploma or equivalent certification is required.

· Strong Knowledge of PC Hardware required.

· Strong knowledge of Win XP and SMS

· Knowledge of Linux, AS400 / iSeries, and Active Directory a Plus.
