Fund Accounting Specialist Senior — Insurance Accounting

Senior Accountant Role:
- As a Senior Accountant, you will render accurate and timely accounting statements in compliance with customer expectations and departmental standards.
- Review transactions on a daily basis to ensure conformity to established policies and procedures; monitor cash variances between the core JPM systems and the AXA accounting systems on a daily basis, resolving discrepancies.
- Perform reconciliation of policy holder activity to mutual funds and ensure any exceptions are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist in the production of client deliverables, including general ledger and schedule D.
- Communicate with clients and service partners to ensure the timely resolution of all inquiries both internal and external.
- Process daily allocations and quarterly fund of fund rebalances across seven clients.
- Perform trade processing, FOF TA reconciliation and provide cash forecasting related to fund of funds on a daily basis.
- Assist with systems testing for any new releases or enhancements; and maintain a system of filing and account profiles to facilitate continuity during absences and periods of employee turnover and participate in various projects as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
At least two year of staff accounting experience
PC skills (Excel)
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of Fund of Funds, Transfer Agency and Fund Accounting
