Financial Writer RFP Specialist – Part-time

 

A San Francisco and New York based investment adviser with a growing business is seeking a part-time RFP Writer for its San Francisco office.  The candidate should be a highly motivated professional with an excellent work ethic, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Gather, analyze and write marketing information required to answer RFP’s

- Create high quality and accurate answers for institutional products

- Work with team members to create customized answers for proposals

- Ensure consistency of look and feel of RFP’s

- Interact with subject matter experts to obtain specialized data or content

- Answer ad hoc request as needed

- Other writing projects as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

 

- 4-5 years of experience answering and writing RFPs within the investment industry

- BA/BS required

- Proven ability to collect and analyze data quickly

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as the Internet

- An understanding of various asset classes

- Ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
