Job Requirements

 

REX & Co. requires any Sales Executive candidate to match five requirements: Bachelor’s Degree:  Required.  Background in team endeavors a plus. 0 to 4 Years Applicable Work Experience:  Sales and financial services background a big plus. Excellent Communication Ability:  Verbal and written.  Comfort with telephone work is critical. Professionalism and Maturity:  Driven by the need to relate to a typically sophisticated clientele. Software Proficiency:  Microsoft Word, Excel required.  Salesforce.com (or other CRM) a big plus.

Job Activities



REX & Co.’s Sales Executives are responsible for counseling prospective clients about the REX Agreement.  These homeowners largely come to REX & Co. via its advertising and media coverage.

 

Success in the Sales Executive role will be defined foremost by the number of REX Agreement applications returned.  Success in this regard will be achieved by diligently building a pipeline of prospective clients via the firm’s marketing activities, and building a close relationship with each of them.  Secondarily, success in the role will be defined by the proactive identification and communication of best practices for the company.  This objective is aimed to uncover fresh ways to communicate the benefits of the REX Agreement, ways to institutionalize learnings across REX & Co.’s broader sales organization, etcetera.

 

Daily responsibilities, accounting for ~90% of a starting Homeowner Sales Executive’s time: Execute 60-100 homeowner calls, primarily follow up on information they requested. Document relationship details and activities into REX & Co.’s Salesforce.com CRM.

 

Long-term responsibilities, accounting for ~10% of a starting Homeowner Sales Executive’s time: Identify and record potential best practices, to implement across REX & Co.’s sales team. Proactively lead ad hoc projects, designed to develop your skills beyond a sales capacity.
