We have an extraordinary talent base, and we invite you to consider ICMA-RC ' an opportunity to Reach Your Peak.Primary Objective and Purpose:The Senior Fund Manager, Fixed Income Group will independently manage subadvised fixed income funds/portfolios and subadvisers. The role also includes the management of various fixed income funds/portfolio projects such as those related to investments, communication, compliance, clients and Board reporting. As it relates to the funds/portfolios and certain projects, the Fund Manager will also be integral in working with and managing relationships with external parties and certain groups/divisions within the Retirement Corporation. The Fund Manager will assist the Vice President, Fixed Income and Division head in developing and implementing fund, portfolio and corporate strategies.Essential Functions: ' On-going analysis of funds/portfolios and subadvisers' Performs both qualitative and quantitative analysis on fixed income funds/portfolios. ' Performs due diligence on subadvisers supporting the hiring, retention, and termination of subadvisers.' Analyzes, as appropriate, fixed income sectors and instruments. ' Stays updated and/or analyzes the financial markets, the economy, and relevant industries.' Develops relationships with prospective subadvisers for the funds/portfolios.' Manages the implementation of fund and portfolio strategies' Takes a lead role in determining optimal portfolio manager and asset allocation' Manages the research process that supports the optimal portfolio structure' Manages the rebalancing of funds and portfolios' Manages the hiring and termination process for subadvisers.' Develops, establishes, and implements investment policies and procedures.' Provides input and support to the marketing, sales and communications efforts' Provides information for 'RFPs' and other marketing/sales/communications projects. ' Participates in quarterly or client-related calls. ' Liaises with Investment Product Manager in support of client/consultant services meetings. ' Manages projects associated with the funds/portfolios such as: ' Takes a lead role in special investment related studies and projects ' Oversees, develops, and /or writes Board materials, quarterly investment reviews, and other materials. If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:' B.S. Degree or equivalent related experience.' 5 to 7 years of Mutual/commingled trust fund industry experience with emphasis on analysis/management of portfolios/subadvisers, investments, financial markets and economic trends. ' Must have conducted qualitative and quantitative analysis; communicated investment related information; and managed both projects and internal/external relationships. ' Applied investment and economic analysis' Knowledge of statistics and investment data.' Demonstrates superior qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.'
