FINANCIAL PLANNER
The individual selected for this entry level, career growth opportunity will be distinguished in academic achievement, dedicated to client service and adhere to the highest ethical and professional standard of excellence. The Financial Planner provides a broad range of technical and client management support for the firm’s Financial Advisors, Senior Financial Advisors, Principals and Officers.
Primary areas of responsibility will be to: Gather, process and analyze information pertaining to clients’ financial plans, including risk management, retirement, education funding, estate planning and investment portfolio performance.Analyze current and historical financial performance of client investments.Conduct research on investments and other financial information.Prepare investment modeling scenarios as directed.Update information pertaining to client investment portfolios. Update financial planning reports and schedules; perform performance calculations and other analyses when necessary.Prepare client presentations and meeting agendas for review by managers. Complete client account application forms as required. Review and maintain client files. Attend meetings with clients and other outside professionals in a technical, supporting and learning role.
Position requires:
· Bachelor’s degree; Finance or related field preferred.
· Demonstrated quantitative and analytical ability.Basic knowledge of financial markets. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn other software and reporting systems.Notable attention to detail with a demonstrated high standard of accuracy.Superb written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding time management and organizational skills.Strong work ethic.Intention to begin coursework towards CFP® certification.Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
