Job Purpose:

Serves clients by obtaining and evaluating client financial situation; developing, recommending, and managing financial plans, services, and actions; developing and expanding business.

Duties:

* Develops relationship plans by evaluating clients' financial situation, objectives, requirements, and preferences; recommending and selecting service options; obtaining acceptance.

* Provides financial services by serving as primary point of contact for clients; coordinating development and delivery of services among service team members; providing information to clients' other advisors, such as, attorneys and accountants; issuing and reviewing documents; completing account set-up and settlements.

* Develops new business by contacting potential clients; explaining service benefits; preparing and closing contracts; presenting new products to existing clients.

* Realizes and preserves asset value after taxes by determining and recommending asset ownership structures, diversification strategies, and related practices; developing asset allocations and financial plans; researching investment options; managing liquid assets; monitoring investment performance; recommending and implementing changes in strategies and investments; offering guidance and advice; obtaining, evaluating, and planning estate provisions.

* Resolves client issues by providing information and explanations; responding to inquiries and requests.

* Protects client and company interests by complying with federal, state, and foreign regulations; keeping information confidential.

* Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging financial management practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
