Sales Support/Sales Assistant

 

 

Astoria Federal Savings in Patchogue, NY is seeking a qualified and motivated person for the role of sales assistant to a licensed financial advisor. 

 

Outline of Responsibilities:

I. General

· Gathering and forwarding original business received

·Word process, copy, and distribute departmental reports, correspondence and materials

· Maintain files, process business, maintain and adjust database as needed

· Knowledge of the phone system and the ability to ‘broadcast’ messages

· Design graphs, charts and files to supports sales function

· Prepare correspondence

· Follow up on paperwork deficiencies with the Compliance department

·   Distribute reports, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule meetingsII. Data Mining for Soliciting and Prospecting/Mail Merging

·Mail Merge: the ability to manipulate data according to representatives/administrative assistants needs, i.e., create labels, letters, reminder notices, birthday cards, etc.

· Update and maintain sales activity reports and other databases as needed

III.Financial Consultant Support

· General support of representatives of program on an as needed basis

 

Perform other duties as required.
