The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an experienced professional with strong leadership and management skills to serve as Court Executive 2b (Chief) in the Criminal Practice Division. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, Court Executive 3b, the selected candidate is responsible for: providing staff support to a number of Judiciary Conferences and Committees, including the Conferences of Criminal Presiding Judges and Criminal Division Managers; assisting in developing case management policies and procedures to enable the more efficient processing of criminal cases; coordinating Criminal Division staff training and the Comprehensive Judicial Orientation Program (CJOP); serving as the unit liaison with other Judiciary Divisions and other state agencies including the Department of Corrections and State Parole Board; developing the Criminal staff ratio project, budget and program administration; researching and preparing analytical and statistical reports, training manuals, and concept papers for grants for the Judiciary.
AUTHORIZATION TO WORK: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Requirements:
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of professional administrative and/or program management experience, three (3) of which shall have included responsibility for program development and/or implementation and for supervision of staff.
SUBSTITUTION: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to thirty (30) semester hour credits. An Associate’s Degree and two years of additional paraprofessional or professional experience may be substituted for the required Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for one (1) year of experience as indicated above. A Law Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience as indicated above.
NOTE: Knowledge of the New Jersey Court Rules, New Jersey statutes and case processing is preferred.
DRIVER’S LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties.
