Finance Projects Business Analyst:

 

Dresdner Kleinwort is searching for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Finance Projects Team.  The Dresdner Kleinwort Finance and Finance IT teams in partnership are driving a program to re-shape the financial architecture of Dresdner Kleinwort. This program includes the implementation of a Finance Sub-Ledger and General Ledger. The Sub-Ledger is a key constituent in the new architecture as it is a detailed transaction based trading revenue ledger.

 

The position will provide experiences in business data flow analysis and intimate products knowledge in the Capital Markets area.  Well qualified candidates will be able to work efficiently under stress, manage users’ expectations and work well with other members (locally or globally) in the project team.  Any experience with FinArch’s Financial Solution subledger package, SQL generally, and Dresdner Kleinwort internal systems is highly desirable.  Business analysis and projects experience is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be technically adept, and have good skills in Office and database systems.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·  Business process analysis, process/functional documentation, and process re-engineering

·  Front to Back business flow analysis

·  Updating system documentation for SOX and project files

·  User training for new system.

·  Testing of the new system.

·  Support of the users during parallel run and go-live.

·  Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·  5-8 Years experience Business Analysis experience including Front to Back business flow analysis

·  Excellent business documentation skill is a must

·  Experience with MS-SQL Server, Oracle or another major RDBMS.

·  Experience of working on Business Controlling / Finance or Risk Control areas with understanding of processes and terms a distinct advantage

·  Exposure to Capital Market products such as Fixed Income (Repos, Reverse Repos, Treasuries, T-Bills, and Bonds) and Equities (Cash equities, Securities Borrow/Lending) as well as Exchange traded derivatives.

·  Ability to work within a team and with internal clients

·  An Organized, self-starter, with good communication and influencing skills.

·  An interest in finance and how it is evolving

·  The ability to learn new environments fast
