Ensures compliance with established internal controls and company policies and the validity of local office financial statements.
 
Essential Functions
 
Manages any or all of the following functions: general accounting, premium accounting, vendor payables, treasury, and T&E reimbursement processing, along with other assigned functions and assists in preparing the annual expense budget.Monitors adherence to internal controls and company policies to facilitate production of accurate financial statements along with the safeguarding of company assets.Ensures the timely completion of reports and processes in accordance with published timetables.Directs the preparation of numerous financial reports. Interfaces with and advises region heads and regional financial advisors regarding financial matters. Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures in all financial matters.Participates in or leads special projects as determined by management.Coordinates audit activities with both internal and external auditors relating to assigned finance center.

 Has at least ten years of accounting experience, with at least five years in a managerial role.
