Finance Assistant needed in Aliso Viejo

Financial Assistant needed for medical device company located in Aliso Viejo,

Temp to hire position $15.00 p/h

Must be motivated

 

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

The Finance Assistant will provide support to the finance department.

 

 

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

1.        Prepare invoices, credit memos, and statements for distribution to customers.

2.        Create invoices as needed.

3.        Assist with mailing of vendor payments.

4.        Disperse department mail.

5.        A/P and A/R filing, A/P invoice scanning, and related duties as needed. 

6.        Conversion of physical documents to digital format.  Sales tax scanning and Internet uploading of PDF documents.

7.        Other projects and miscellaneous duties as necessary.

 

               

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

1.                 Ability to take initiative and to seek guidance when appropriate.

2.                 Professional appearance and demeanor, teamwork oriented.

3.                 Good communication skills.

4.                 Organized and able to manage time.   

5.                 Must possess basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft software products including OUTLOOK, WORD, and EXCEL. 

6.                 Minimum high school diploma, some college preferred.
