JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for entering, verifying and maintaining cash receipts in accordance with company policy and procedures. Identifies issues with current process and notifies management of concerns and potential solutions.

JOB DUTIESReceive operational data for verification, correction and/or entry into the company’s cash receipts systems and enters the information according to WHQ requirements. Monitor financial information such as bank charges. Record financial information in the appropriate bookkeeping systems as necessary. Monitor transmission of data from the offices to FIN. Follow up with the offices to resolve errors.Report all income, miscellaneous credits, refunds and bank charge information according to WHQ policy and procedures. Research and validate bank deposits on a daily basis. Notify districts of non compliance and variances. Reconcile cash over/shorts for each district assigned.Balance and reconcile ledgers, which will become part of the company’s general ledger system. Reconcile cash and bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis, comparing account balances to other recorded sources. Submit required reports to the appropriate division and WHQ.Contact field offices to inquire about cash variances, nightly closing procedures, and bonus calculations. Respond to field office inquires concerning cash drawer variances, missing receipts, electronic transactions, and standard operating procedures, as well as other concerns as applicable.Assist and monitor the training of FIN Bookkeeper I and Assistant FIN Bookkeepers as necessary. Respond to questions and inquiries as proposed by FIN Bookkeeper I and Assistant FIN Bookkeepers.Attend training sessions and participate in meetings related to the effective and efficient performance of job duties.Identify issues with current process and notify management of potential concerns and potential solutions.Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTSThese skills are acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.Ability to work independently.Analytical and detail oriented.Ability to do repetitive tasks and remain focused. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.Good verbal and written communication skills required.Ability to effectively work under strict deadlines while simultaneously organizing multiple projects.Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.Experience with Windows operating system.Good 10-key, data entry, and keyboarding ability.
