This position works directly with the Accounting department, the client teams and reports directly to the Director of Finance & Administration.  Overall, this position will be analyzing daily cash settlement of customer payments, electronic funds transfer, and other related cash management activities.  This position requires a willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously whenever needed and a resilient, flexible attitude with lots of enthusiasm.  Finally, because of our high growth rate, this position is the perfect opportunity to learn the business from the inside and then transfer into a new department.

 

Primary Responsibilities:Oversees and analyzes daily cash transactions (EFT, ACH, etc.) between the Company, its customers, and other third parties to ensure they processed accuratelyResponsible for verifying Company payments release and cash receipts via ACH/EFT and other methodsCompletes daily and monthly settlement reports for accounting and other departments with cash settlement related detailProvides data to Accounting department for monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations relating to cash settlement activityResponsible for revenue analysis and reporting on client activities.Performs daily research on banking issues, as well as disbursement and receipt inquiries

 

Requirements and Position Skills:2-year college degree; Bachelors degree preferred in Business Management and/or AccountingProficient with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and external partiesSelf-Motivated with the ability to work independently; Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with attention to detailDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment High ethical and moral standardsAbility to act discretely with confidential informationPositive and enthusiastic attitudeTeam-oriented with a commitment to the success of everyone in the company
