Experienced Project Manager (PMP) / Financial Services


Intrinsic is looking for an experienced Project Manager for a 9-12+ Month engagement with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Warren NJ (about 40 minutes outside of Manhattan).  Someone who has successfully led at least medium sized teams and performed the classic project management, resource management, project reporting, data analysis, meeting/schedule management, and budget management will do well.  Our consultant must have some project or program management experience in Financial Services.  A PMP is preferred.  Experience managing IT Risk projects would be very helpful.  Preference will be given to consultants who have managed in a Big Four / Systems Integrator environment.


Specific Role Requirements

 Analytical SkillsPMP certification preferredSDLC and SQA experienceDetailed oriented, excellent presentation skillsAbility to create and manage MS project plans and Sharepoint databasesUse of requirement management tools (i.e. ReqPro)

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interface with both business and technology constituents. This is a long term contract position, but could turn into a permanent hire in the future for the right individuals.

 

The current engagement is based in Warren NJ, and runs at least through June of 2009.  Excellent professionals joining us at the client have a high likelihood of continuing in these and other roles, in what are multi-year programs.

 

The hourly rate is $75 - $100 per hour, depending on experience, on a full time basis.  You should assume a standard 2,000 hour year.

 

Intrinsic is a high end Consulting firm founded by Big 4, Systems Integration, and Software industry executives.  We work in direct relationships with our clients, and at times, other integrators.  Our consultants and our contractors are considered long term relationships, and we pride ourselves on delivering very high quality consulting and staffing help at reasonable market rates.  Excellent communication, client relationship, and business acumen skills are a must. When we work with professionals outside of our in house capacity, we do so with the objective of continuing to work with them on an ongoing basis, including options for retainer arrangements and permanent hire offers with Intrinsic itself.

Process:

You will need to have client references from prior work ready, though they will not be called until we decide to move forward together.  We will interview you through either a face to face meeting, or through a Skype Video Call.
