Although independent, each company works in cooperation with other Stanford affiliates to provide coordinated wealth management programs for clients worldwide. General Position Objectives: To provide professional, high end service to incoming callers while promoting the Stanford brand. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (essential to the position) · Answer Cisco switchboard on a daily basis with the ability to speak English and Spanish fluently. · Serve as back up to the Concierge which entails: · Greet clients in English or Spanish ask them who they are here to meet. Request that they go to the second floor reception area and wait. Advise the Receptionists when clients are being directed to the second floor waiting area. · Communicate with Security and Receptionist of unexpected visitors, changes to the Calendar and any other information · Provide tours of 5050 Westheimer building for guests in English and Spanish · Arrange air travel and hotel reservations for clients, recruits and employees using TraveLeaders corporate travel agency · Book car rentals and town car service for clients, recruits and employees · Assist in the coordination of company events held in the 5050 Westheimer building including the Stanford Experience · Maintain and distribute the daily Calendar for 5050 Westheimer building Conference rooms, Eagle room, Lodis room · Book meeting rooms as necessary - Follow-up meeting room requests · Check the DVD player and desktop computer in the Lodis room daily to ensure it is in proper working order. Notify IT Department if not working properly. · Keep the Concierge area clean and in order including the mints, Register book and Eagle statue area · Compile expense reports to be delivered to Human Resources · Assist Brokers who are visiting our Houston office · Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills:Must be fluently bilingual in Spanish Computer Literate Very Professional attire and demeanor Prior Receptionist or Hospitality experience is required.
