General Description: high level financial executive responsible for directing the fiscal functions of a 125-person firm in a high growth industry. Responsible for developing and implementing high level financial trending and forecasting models to accomplish high level strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and mentor finance team responsible for financial bookkeeping, reporting and AR/AP of 4 entities (a parent firm with 2 subsidiaries) and a law firm. Develop/Integrate sophisticated financial tools to monitor and report on trends in monthly and annual financial reports and statements.Analyze, report on and make recommendations to CEO for Strategic Operational plans based on items such as variable costs (acquisition, sales and client), fixed costs, revenue regressions, break-even analysis and ROI analysis. Help company make key decisions on potential integration of enterprise software to include decision on growing to next level from high version QuickBooks Assist and mentor key executives towards final stages of developing ROI projects that are directly tied to company goals of profitability. Assist CEO in isolating and launching products and programs to capture market while simultaneously eliminating loss leaders or other products, programs or projects with lower ROI and synergies. Work closely with outside accounting firms to establish and execute accounting needsAssist CEO and owner with evaluating possible outside capitalization sources for more aggressive growthEnsure balanced budgets, profitability and cash flow trends and expand on each as company grows. Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing responsibilities and projects as needed to ensure consistent valued production.
