Escrow Assistant

We are currently looking for an Escrow Assistant for our Dallas Ryland Title location (located at 17855 North Dallas Parkway) supporting Ryland Homes and Ryland Mortgage.  This position will effectively manage buyers' files for pre and post closing, verify timely file creation and title work completion, ensure the receipt of necessary documentation and prepare and file customer folders as appropriate.Essential Functions: Confirm all title work is created, ordered and filed; Order and confirm receipt of the HOA information; Maintain daily log of file progress; Distribute and mail checks; Log dates of distributed materials; Organize the files and send to the centralized title department; Research requests; Assist with closing as necessary; Track lost/misplaced checks; Assist manager with daily tasks as required.Position Requirements: High school diploma. 1-2 years title/escrow experience. 1-2 years clerical or accounting/banking experience required. Basic computer skills (MS Office and title specific software). Strong organizational skills. Ability to manager a high volume work load. Deadline driven. Detail oriented. Ability to multi-task. Self driven. Strong communication skills.
