Electronic Technician
Heartland Payment Systems is looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team!
Heartland Payment Systems, Inc. (NYSE: HPY) provides credit and debit card, payroll and related processing services to restaurant, hotel, and retail merchants throughout the United States. HPS provides services to over 160,000 merchants with over 1,100 Relationship Managers out of a team of over 2,400 employees in operations, sales, IT, marketing and administration.
Heartland processed its first card transaction on July 15, 1997 with a business investment of $1 million. Today, Heartland has become the sixth largest payment processor, with over $55 billion of annual processing volume from current merchants.
As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and repairing electronic equipment specializing in Point Of Sale equipment for Heartland Payment Systems' clients. Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and componenet level repairs on entry and intermediate level equpment.You will also perform data entry, inventory control, and quality assurance procedures. A successful candidate will be enthusiastic, team oriented, and possess a winning attitude.
Qualifications include 5 years electronics experience or a 2-year degree in Applied Science with an electronic concentration. Must have developed skills in component removal and replacement. Qualities expected in a candidate are well organized, attentive to detail, be proficient in computer skills, able to work with extremely small components utilizing magnification equipment, ability to work in groups, ability to work without constant supervision, and flexibile with an ability to adapt to workload.
