Distributed Report Dev III

The jobholder uses existing and emerging report delivery technology platforms to design, development, and document technically detailed interrelated, highly formatted reports requiring extensive stored procedure and database/report writer query development tailored to a specific business need or external client customization requirement including multiple interfaces.  S/he writes new complex interrelated reporting, designs and codes programs and creates test data.  S/he uses standard procedures and techniques to write new reporting programs of high complexity.  S/he has extensive experience in performance tuning of queries and reports.  S/he also analyzes organizational needs and reporting goals necessary to develop and implement distributed reporting applications.

Minimum of 3 ¿ 5 years of experience working in distributed report development.  Jobholder must have thorough knowledge of company¿s total computing environment, including the specific functions of own IT department and familiarity with existing technology infrastructure.  S/he must have extensive experience in developing suites of interrelated reports tailored to a specific business need or client customization requirement.  Jobholder must be knowledgeable about cross-platform interoperability (multiple platforms, i.e. NT, Unix, inter/intranet, mainframe, etc.), tools and features for report development specific to a platform.
