Axcess Financial is currently looking for a Director of Infrastructure.  Responsibilities will include to direct and lead all technical infrastructure activities within the IT organization; lead various infrastructure teams (system administration, voice and data networks, desktop support, and data center management) within the IT department; lead, mentor, and grow highly skilled technical teams.IT Infrastructure Development and Support Responsible for design, development, and support of the corporate IT infrastructure including Voice/Data Networks, System Administration, Desktop Support, and Data Center Management.Project Management Lead and direct various enterprise project initiatives.  This will include managing all phases of an infrastructure project including staffing, requirements definition, design, vendor selection and management (if appropriate), hardware/software development and/or customization, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.Manage and grow highly skilled technical teams Set priorities, mentor, direct professional growth, and lead implementation of new technologies and methodologies.Actively manage the capital and expense items to meet budget expectations Work with team members and vendors to continually improve our cost efficiencies through competitive vendor bidding and metrics based vendor management. Develop RFI/RFP’s and analyzes vendor responses. Assist in contract negotiations. SLA performance and Quality Assurance Meet with all levels of customers, peers, suppliers and business partners to review existing systems performance, capabilities and quality to ensure that an agreed-upon service level is provided to customers. Develop and maintain performance metrics relative to the areas being supported. Identify uses of technology to grow the business. •Proven experience (over 10 years) in engineering, developing, planning and executing enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives •Demonstrated project management skills (over 10 years) including concept to implementation and multi-tasking skills •Proven management and leadership skills (over 10 years) including staff and vendor selection/development •Proven experience in managing infrastructure teams (including voice/data networks, systems administration, data center management, and desktop support) •Strong problem solving and analytical skills •Demonstrated ability managing large cross-functional projects, including the establishment of goals (both financial and non-financial), scope, and strategy; ability to lead teams with representatives of all levels •Excellent communication skills; present data and conclusions in organized manner; persuasive •B.A. degree in Information Technology We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Axcess Financial is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Values Diversity.
