Director of Finance/Controller
A financial services firm is seeking a highly motivated professional to manage our Finance and Accounting Department.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will be responsible for the following: Managing monthly financial statement preparation Overseeing quarterly financial reporting and annual budgeting and forecasting Supervise billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable process Timely and account payroll process Account reconciliations Financial analysis External audit coordination, including workpaper generation Create and maintain policies, procedures and systems enhancements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, coupled with CPA Strong ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple deadlines 5-7 years of management or supervisory experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Proven ability to resolve problems and provide solutions Ability to act with a sense of urgency and drive for results High attention to detail and quality

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting leadership role, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well with all levels throughout the organization.
