Director Financial Reporting

Role Responsibilities

The director of financial reporting will assist the VP of financial reporting in compilation of the quarterly financial statements and related footnotes and any additional requirements of our SEC filings.  He/she will also assist the VP of financial reporting in performing research on any emerging technical accounting issues to determine the impact on the company.

 

The director of financial reporting will be the company’s primary point of contact for our auditors during our three quarterly reviews and the annual audit.  He/she will manage the audit/review process with the auditors from start to finish.

 

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparation of audit/review timeline

- Coordinate with key members of the accounting staff to ensure timely delivery of reports/support requested by the auditors

- Manage the sending and receipt of all audit confirmations

- Daily monitoring of the open items list provided by auditors

 

Education Requirements

Undergraduate accounting degree

CPA required

 

 

Previous experience Requirements (inc # of yrs)

Senior auditor or above, 4-6 years audit experience with a public accounting firm.  Investment management experience strongly preferred.
