(NYSE: GNW), is a leading insurance holding company, serving the lifestyle protection, retirement income, investment and mortgage insurance needs of more than 15 million customers, with operations in 24 countries, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K. and more than a dozen other European countries.RESPONSIBILITIES: High visibility role driving Genworth Financial’s US State and Local tax operations, including:* Lead all tax planning and transactions relating to investments, financial products and financings* Oversee tax aspects associated with investments including derivatives, fixed income securities and real estate* Develop and implement strategies using tax-advantaged investments * Oversee tax compliance and reporting for investments GENERAL: The successful candidate will demonstrate technical mastery of US taxation, have a high academic profile, and show the ability to lead with energy.
