The scope of the job is:The Bilingual Spanish Direct Sales Professional (DSP) is a licensed representative and is responsible for initiating and successfully closing sales opportunities and supporting marketing campaigns. Contacts are made through inbound and outbound calls in a way that enables the contact center to meet its customer satisfaction and business performance goals.The position is located in Charlotte, N.C.Start date: 11/3/08Training schedule: Mon - Fri 1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (8 weeks) then 2-3 months Mon - Sat 1:30-10:00 with Sundays off and a weekday off.After all training schedule will be: 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.Benefits are all effective first day of employment.Weekly salary: 538.00 with an additional 10% shift.The position will be responsible for: Providing an exceptional sales experience to customers in order to meet sales targets and performance goals. Resolving complex questions/issues and referring other inquiries to appropriate areas as needed. Providing quotes for both auto and property premiums and bind policies. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of specific company products in order to portray confidence and credibility to customers. Proactively identify and act on cross-selling opportunities in order to increase household penetration and improve customer retention, applying effective selling and influencing techniques. Prospect for new business during routine customer calls. Required Skills: (skills individual must bring to the job) and skill levels required: Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge) Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding) Advanced (is considered an expert) Required Skills: Advanced - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Advanced - Basic PC aptitude with Word, Excel and the Internet. Advanced - Flexibility Advanced - Team-oriented Advanced - AdaptabilityExperience Required: (type of experience and number of years required) One to two years of sales experience in a sales call center environment or equivalent sales job is preferred and a preference for insurance industry related experience. Computer Proficiency: (computer skills needed to do the job) Microsoft Office Suite PC Aptitude Education: High School or GED requiredMajor preference: None Foreign Language Proficiency: Bilingual SpanishRequirement:Yes
