We are currently seeking a motivated self starter that is professional and has the ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency. The ideal candidate will fill our Desktop Support Supervisor position. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible to the manager of Information Technology for providing adequate oversight of the desktop support area. These duties include but are not limited to, ensuring desktop support functions are carried out in an expedient and accurate manner, ensuring errors and problem are properly investigated and reported to management, ensuring staffing levels are sufficient to meet the needs of the credit union users, ensuring user requests are processed in a timely manner, and ensuring training deficiencies are reported to management.

The Desktop Support Supervisor is also responsible for the development and maintenance of system logs, support documentation, records associated with system errors, backup data, media control, and is expected to be able to perform all duties and responsibilities assigned to the Desktop Support group. Required Experience

College degree in the field of computer science and 2 years of work experience in a desktop support/help desk capacity; or 4 years of progressive work experience in a desktop support /help desk or system administration capacity. 2 years leadership and/or supervisor experience preferred. Current MCDST, MCSA or MCSE certification required. Excellent technical knowledge of PC hardware, help desk administration, systems access administration and troubleshootingAble to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guidesEffective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Self motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
