More than 6,700 TIG team members across the U.S. deliver this technology support that keeps Wells Fargo at the forefront of America's largest diversified financial services companies.DBA with MS-SQL Server experience and Oracle to be involved with the DSG Data Strategies within HCFG. Leads Designs, tests, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's physical and logical databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Develops data architectures and database management policies andstandards. Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. Independently develops data models and creates good database designs of moderate complexity. Implements production databases, including infrastructure activities and security. Completes database object creation, migration, data integrity and data recovery projects of moderate complexity. Leads projects addressing complex issues; can influence business requirements design. Contributes to discussions on database management policies and standards. Consults with, advises and provides guidance to database users, often proposing strategic solutions. Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced database analysts.Other locations may be considered for the candidate with the right skills. Minimum Qualifications: * 4-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience * 7-10 years work experience * Expert as a DBA for MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005* Knowledge of upgrading from MS SQL Server 2000 to MS SQL Server 2005* Working experience with Windows 2003 Server, Polyserve, and Windows Clustering* Knowledge of database replication, log shipping, Double Take, and data mirroring* Knowledge and experience of converting from DTS to SSIS* Working experience as a DBA for Oracle 9i and 10G* Knowledge of upgrading from Oracle 9i to Oracle 10G* Working Experience with AIX, Solaris, and Oracle on Windows* Knowledge and experience using Shareplex for replication* Knowledge and experience using RMAN for backups* Knowledge and experience using Sybase PowerDesigner to manage database models* Perl scripting to maintain infrastructure scripts* Ability to problem solve database issues while on-call 24x7* Candidate must possess self motivation and strong communication skills to manage customer relations with emphasis on verbal communication and problem solving skills.  * Knowledge of performance data collection, performance monitoring and performance improvement.   * Knowledge of backups and recovery, Security Administration, Database and Server * Performance Monitoring and Tuning, and Capacity Planning.
