Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. Provide all weekly, monthly, and quarterly standard reports in order to create input for future analysis.  This includes determining the report requirements and gathering, formatting and verifying data, and handling questions on the reports the employee is responsible for updating.  Data and Reporting Assistants are also responsible for updating planning models and providing presentation support by updating presentation packages with current data. Job Responsibilities: Populate standard reports Check reports for reasonableness Update planning models Rollover reports annually Field basic ad hoc requests Document processes Work with DS's/Analysts to resolve conflicting data issues Provide slide presentation support Manage multiple tasks Train and back up other DA's Maintain development profile   Communication Skills:  Moderate communications skills required to draft reports, memos, and business letters and give instructions to others. Performs advanced tasks using analytical and problem solving skills with minimal supervision.  Is often a team lead position responsible for training and coaching less experienced employees. Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
