Customer Service Representative

Symetra is actively recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our New Business Retirement Services team in providing excellent customer service to our customers and agents!  If you are highly detailed, organized and thrive in a fast paced environment this opportunity is for you!   o  Review new business applications for accuracy and timely follow through with agents regarding any missing requirements. o  Develop knowledge of products, business rules and regulations for the new business application review process to include contract provisions, company procedures and requirements for account changes. o  Manage customer retention by explaining product features and alternative options. o  Identify opportunities to improve business processes, including development of procedures and workflow enhancements Job Requirements: Qualifications: o  Strong customer service orientation; including demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base o  Excellent phone presence with a strong ethic regarding its importance o  Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to record clear written documentation. o  Demonstrated organizational and follow-up skills o  Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities concurrently o  Skilled at quickly learning and managing multiple business system applications o  Ability to research answers, learn quickly and retain information o  Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation; must be self reliant and seek clarification if things are unclear o  Ability to work well under pressure and adverse conditions o  Ability to work independently and in a team environment o  Insurance industry experience a plus!  Division/Department : Symetra Financial Travel Required : None Location: Bellevue, WA 98004 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Administrative/Clerical Relevant Work Experience: Less than 1 Year Career Level: Entry Level Education Level: Associate Degree
