The Role

We are seeking a Corporate Trainer to join our team who has the ability to provide creative learning solutions to all areas of the business including our vendors.

 

Primary Duties:

· Conduct needs assessment, including conferring with management and staff, to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in policies and procedures.

· Research course content.

· Develop and maintain course curriculum and instructional programs.

· Design, create, and update training aids, such as manuals, handouts, course exercises, and visual aids.

· Conduct classroom training and webex presentations.

· Confer with department managers and supervisors to identify additional training needs, as required for new and existing staff.

· Evaluate effectiveness of training and modify programs as needed.

· Schedule training sessions, arrange equipment, and prepare physical set-up of new employees.

· Maintain training attendance records.

· Respond to individual employee training issues on an as needed basis.

· Other duties may be assigned.

 

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:  Bachelor's Degree.  5-7 years of experience in a training position.  Instructional design experience.  Ability to navigate, influence and establish priorities.  Must be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who is comfortable speaking in large groups with all different levels.  Must have outstanding written and oral communications, facilitation and presentation skills.  Innovative thinker and comfortable with change.  Ability to motivate and inspire groups to desired outcomes.  Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Professional is preferred.  Experience with/ exposure to E-Learning.

 

Compensation:

Base salary is commensurate with experience.
