Corporate Finance Vice President

Schneider Downs Corporate Finance, LP, an affiliate of Schneider Downs & Co., Inc., is looking for an experienced Vice President to join its growing practice. Schneider Downs Corporate Finance, LP provides corporate finance services, including mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations and private placements of debt. Our experience covers a variety of industries, helping companies meet their corporate finance objectives.

Responsibilities Include:Overseeing and providing quality review of valuation analysis, selling document preparation, and other financial analyses and documents; "Ownership" of the selling document, including writing critical portions of selling document or reviewing/editing content written by others; Day-to-day management of transaction processes, with oversight from senior personnel; Strategy development and implementation; Quality review of project components, developing timelines and insuring they are being met; Managing and mentoring junior staff; Developing and executing practice development opportunities; Determining buyer criteria and other pertinent information required to perform analysis; Participating in negotiation activities, organizing and participating in proposals and management presentations; Preparing company for due diligence.

Required/Desired Qualifications:5 or more years experience in corporate finance area with emphasis on equity and mergers and acquisitions, structuring and execution of transactions;Strong accounting and financial skills;Excellent interpersonal skills;Demonstrated strategic thinking capability;Practice development skills; Supervisory experience; Excellent verbal and written skills; Knowledge of tax laws and implications on transactions; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Advanced degree preferred; Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred
