Computer Science Internship
The overall goal of the internship is to assist various activities in the Unix Research & Development lab, where research into new technologies and application testing is performed. This includes: Tracking paperwork (invoices, shipping, parts lists)Physically installing servers.Install/troubleshoot Linux, networking, storage, cables, and peripherals.Moving equipment between different labs.Coordinating projects with other groups and documenting progressAssisting developers testing applications in a lab environment.
Requirements
Working towards Bachelor's degreeDetail-oriented, manages time wellExcellent writing skillLinux/Solaris and/or networking experience preferredPerl and shell programming skills preferredAble to lift server/networking equipment *Must be currently enrolled in school. No recent grads please!
