Company: GunnAllen Financial Inc Location: Tampa, FL 33634 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Commissions Payable GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB Primary role is to work with branch managers to reconcile monthly commission statements. Candidate will also work closely with various GAF departments to insure accuracy of charges and/or credits to reps. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND include the following and other duties as assigned: Maintain Commission System Work directly with Branch Managers to reconcile commission statements Interact with GAF corporate departments responsible for submitting charges to reps Train branch managers and reps on new commission system, Xtiva QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. COMPUTER SKILLS Proficient in Excel and the use of spreadsheets, as well as Microsoft Outlook REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Series 7 preferred but not required.
