Collections Supervisor Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the day to day activities of the collection staff and specialists. Works with staff to coach and develop a top performing team. Makes recommendations to improve department procedures and best practices to minimize delinquencies and losses. Reviews collection activity to ensure compliance with all regulations. Handle member complaints to assist in resolving disputes. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

2-5 years supervisory experience in a call center environment

5 years collections experience handling both secured and unsecured collections i.e., Credit Cards, First Mortgage, Home Equity, Bankruptcies, Repossessions

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and must be able to type 35-40 WPM

Excellent oral and written communication skills needed. Expertise in handling of problem situations. Excellent supervisory skills are required

Spanish preferred but not required
