Collections Manager

Cavalry Portfolio Services, LLC is a debt purchaser, specializing in Third Party Collections of deficient auto loans, credit cards, cell phone accounts & specialty consumer loans.  Collections Manager Overall Responsibilities: Manage all aspects and responsibilities of the collection cycle for a team of collectors. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Â·  Responsible for their collectors generating a minimum of 125 phone attempts per day on the accounts in the assigned work drive and obtain a minimum of 25 contacts and 10 promises out of the accounts worked each day while collecting sufficient revenue to exceed their monthly fee requirement. Â·  Ensures staff is negotiating repayment terms that are in accordance with corporate directives. Â·  Monitors staff to properly determine when accounts qualify for litigation based on specific criteria or closing accounts that do not have assets for suit and refuse to pay. Â·  Ensures both he/she and his/her staff are keeping demands, rebuttals and skip tracing efforts in compliance with the various state and federal laws that govern third party debt collections as well as with corporate policies and procedures. Â·  Ensures both he/she and his/her staff thoroughly document all collection efforts on accounts. Â·  Provides training to his/her staff to correct deficient areas noted in reviews or audits and taking corrective action with his/her staff when necessary. Â·  Has a thorough knowledge of the operating system, reporting functions and overall collection process. Â·  Resolves debtor complaints and handles account problem resolution. Â·  Follows all Corporate guidelines and responsibilities Â· Other duties as assigned.Experience Required:High School Diploma Bachelor's degree preferred3-5 years previous successful supervisor/manager experienceStrong knowledge of MS Office SuiteMust have collections backgroundExceptional communication and interpersonal skills
