Client Services Advisor

Securian Financial Group is continuing our history of success!  For more than 127 years we have been growing, and we are one of the most highly rated Financial Services companies in America.  We currently have an opening for a Client Services Advisor.  The primary goal of this position is to leverage your knowledge and expertise to connect with our policyowners to assist them in meeting their life insurance needs and goals. 

WHAT YOU WOULD DO IN THIS JOB

1.  Provide expertise to clients who hold individual insurance contracts with the express purpose of servicing clients who are assigned to the home office and ultimately retaining the life insurance contracts. 

2.  Assess the client's current situation, educate them regarding their current contract, make recommendations to meet their life insurance needs and goals.  In addition, work to preserve the client relationship and contract with Securian.

3.  Conceptualize, devise and develop programs that can effectively increase the retention of the life insurance block, based upon reported and studied information.

4.  Develop and implement proactive service and marketing campaigns that will focus on clients assigned to the home office and their need for information and service.

5.  Keep abreast of the life insurance marketplace, including marketing and sales ideas, competitive trends and regulatory changes.

 

WHAT WE'D EXPECT FROM YOU 

1.  Sales experience in the life insurance services business with demonstrated customer service skills.

2.  Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of Securian products.

3.  Understanding of the life insurance planning environment, including an understanding of life insurance strengths, asset allocation, diversification and pertinent tax concepts.

4.  Currently hold FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses.

5.  Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to interact in a wide variety of circumstances.

6.  Analytical and decision-making ability to research issues and implement solutions.

7.  Strong organizational skill to effectively manage from the inception of a client contract to capturing the essence in data for further analysis. 

8.  Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in order to make timely contacts with clients.
