Chief of Staff

A highly regarded information services company is seeking an outstanding leader to serve as an Assistant and Chief of Staff reporting to a C-Level Executive. This position is responsible for influencing constituencies to assist the executive in reaching company goals. The position is a career development 12 to 18 month assignment. Responsibilities·  Impact business strategy by influencing decision-making, creating and implementing processes or programs to ensure success and results.·  Champion top priority programs sponsored by the executive through coordinating, monitoring, implementing, and directing the activities of operating owners.·  Manage executive’s calendar so that time allocation is focused on priorities that drive value.·  Facilitate all senior leadership meetings by planning agendas, previewing and critiquing presentations and reports and driving outcomes and follow-up plans.·  Manage the operating expenses of the executive’s by taking accountability for forecasting, accruals, and results; reviewing and approving expenses.·  Assist executive in developing key messages and scripts for discussions; preview and assess goals based on outcomes; and use resources to enable the executive to change the leadership behavior of leaders.·  Lead, coach and develop support team members associated with executive’s office to ensure successful daily operations. Requirements·  MBA required·  7+ years of business experience including leadership roles in one or more of the following areas: sales and marketing (preferred), finance, HR, technology, operations·  Experience with a consulting firm is strongly preferred·  High readiness and demonstrated ability to leverage the leadership model and associated tools.·  Ability to drive results, make things happen, and determine direction; self-motivated with the ability to positively influence and motivate others.·  The ability to influence and leverage relationships positively are key. ·  Excellent organization, collaborating and influencing, financial, interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills·  Proven project management and problem solving/analytical skills. ·  Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment.
