Canada jobs: Financial Analyst

Major Responsibilities:
• Compensation reports such as overtime reports, workforce reporting, severance reconciliation and reporting.
• Responsible for review and audit of commissions' accruals and payments.
• Review and Analysis of budgeted and forecasted personnel costs for Canada Region.
• Reconciliation of bank accounts on daily basis and initiating action on reconciling items.
• Reconciliation of AR accounts and initiating action on reconciling items.
• Receives, reviews and processes journal uploads.
• Responsible for balance sheet analysis.
• Review of margin income.
• Backfilling for other finance staff for Finance Transformation projects.
• Systems cross training.
• Role is vital in meeting deadlines with internal and external reporting including statutory and management reporting.
• Other duties as delegated from time to time.

Education and Experience:
• Enrolled in Accounting Designation.
• Advanced level of EXCEL, Intermediate level experience on PC applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), in-house systems.
• Experience in eBack office, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management or equivalent program.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Minimum 3 to 5 years accounting experience.
