Call Center Representative

Job Title:  Retirement Education Specialist   

 

Scope

The Newport Group has an excellent opportunity for a call center representative this position will be responsible for responding to participants’ questions and requests for information, process related mailing for Qualified and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans.

 

Essential Functions Answer incoming telephone calls to client service call center. Assist participants with obtaining account information, placing trade request and assist with enrollments. Respond to caller questions by obtaining information from the appropriate person or system. Direct calls to designated area when necessary. Take and relay messages as required. Assist participants to change PIN numbers as requested. Assist with participant questions related to the on-line investment advice engine and involve Investment Management if necessary. Prepare and mail activity confirmations to participant. Perform a range of assigned clerical routines as directed. Respond to electronic participant inquiries and voicemails.

 

Requirements Bachelor’s degree 2-3 years of Retirement Services industry experience Series 6 and 63 licenses desired Non-Qualified plan knowledge Must be proficient with Microsoft suite of products Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong attention to detail Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
