DSC’s Field teams represent the company’s foundation. Currently we are interviewing for a Customer Portfolio Representative for our Virginia Beach, VA area branch office.
Qualified candidates should have two or more years experience in collecting receivables and possess a mix of proven skills and attributes as demonstrated in previous jobs such as: Proven Organization Skills ( High degree needed)Ability to manage multiple, competing demandsAbility to quickly adapt to change and random spikes in work loadSolid communication skills with a strong appreciation for high customer service levels Ability to negotiate situations with DSC’s objectives at the forefrontDemonstrates tenacity and passion for collectionsA strong appreciation for “business flow” and accuracyTask oriented with a strong initiative to complete daily work loadPersonal drive toward individual performance while embracing team goals / atmosphere Possesses a respect for company based policies and proceduresSuccessful, proven collections skillsStatistically driven in areas of goals, objectives and performanceAbility to complete branch daily deposit according to policy and procedureEstablish contact sources with local prosecutors, attorneys, and collection / repo agenciesCoordinate collections efforts with Corp collections teamAs volume dictates and as assigned, assist branch team in volume goals and efforts as they relate to non-delinquent itemsAuto industry knowledge a plusMust have valid driver's licenseMust be proficient with Microsoft Office/Outlook/WindowsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred - not mandatory
